STARSTRUCK ~ A Night of Glamour and Fabulous Entertainment!
Bals masqués, or masked balls, are the pinnacle of Twelfth Night revelry. The masqués and entertainment continue through Shrove Tuesday, which the French call Mardi Gras or "fat Tuesday," which is the day before Lent. Ironically, the solemn and austere period of Lent created Carnival, which literally means, "farewell to meat." All carnival revelries began with the frenzied overindulgence of people about to bid a temporary, but very fond, adieu to the pleasures of the flesh.
The revelry of the 5th Annual Voilà Mardi Gras Ball will feature extraordinary entertainment ~ all to serve our guests to A Night of Glamour!

“From the minute I walk into the event space to begin setting up to paint from life, until after it’s over and my easel is packed up and I’m leaving, I feel a huge excitement and pleasure at being part of the guests’ experience . . . I am so honored to be part of the event’s ‘Cool’ factor!” ~ Ann Marshall Bailey ~ Live Event Painting

The Off Centered Project was created in 2012 by Kristina Guede and Tony Schott, two performing artists, in search of a healthy, professional environment to creatively express their visons. With lifelong backgrounds in classical ballet and competitive gymnastics, this duo collaborated their forces to form a company where artists could flourish and live out their dreams.
In 2020, The Voilà Foundation has happily asked The Off Centered Project to design performances in the spirit of classic 1940s Hollywood!
Daniela Caldwell started her training very young in competitive rhythmic gymnastics. Her love of Cirque Arts led to training in ballet, contemporary dance, contortion, hand balancing, aerial silks, lyra, straps and sling. She has been performing throughout Atlanta and the Southeast for the last few years for private events, charities, shows and festivals. Her most popular act (and unique act) involves contortion/handbalancing and ball manipulation.
